Eyelet consists of a body and a standard spherical bearing. Rod eyes may be on the inside or the outside thread (right or left), or without thread for welding to the stem or the back of the cylinder cover. There are different versions of the work standard spherical bearings: steel on steel, steel on PTFE bronze with steel on PTFE material. Eyelets with steel bearings must be lubricated. Eyelets with bearings, the surfaces of which are made of anti-friction materials, require no maintenance during operation. Selection of the eye, including bearing, mainly depends on the operating conditions. It is necessary to take into account the structural features. The main series of eyelets range for hydraulic applications are divided into two groups:

• Hydraulic threaded eyelets for landing on the stem,

• Hydraulic lugs welded to the stem or the back cover.

With regard to the scope of the data eye, usually presented in a series of steel on steel, used in applications where the load space are variables. These eyes are made and designed especially for rods and hydraulic cylinders where maximum tightness.
