The double-acting manual hydraulic pump is designed to control a double-sided hydraulic cylinder. With this pump, you can create a force in two directions - on the extension and the movement of the hydraulic cylinder. Double-sided manual hydraulic pumps can also be equipped with a safety valve, which serves to protect the entire hydraulic system from overpressure.

Often there are cases when the hydraulic cylinder rests, and the pressure continues to be created. In the absence of a safety valve - this can lead to rupture of the hydraulic system.

A two-sided pump for hydraulics works as follows: during pumping, the oil flows from the tank to the pump and under a certain pressure moves to the working body (hydraulic cylinder), bringing it into motion. Using a double-sided pump, it is possible to move the hydraulic cylinder in both directions.
